In August of 1996, John Petrovskis and his business partner purchased The Printing Factory, building upon that independent vision. Their focus was simple and enduring: deliver consistent quality, treat every project as custom, and build relationships that last. When John’s partner later retired, John continued forward as owner and manager.

In recent years, The Printing Factory has grown thoughtfully by incorporating local printers, Holly Press and Hainesville Print & Marketing, into the business. 

As the owners of Holly Press and Hainesville Print & Marketing prepared for retirement, The Printing Factory stepped in to ensure their clients experienced a seamless transition, preserving the service, reliability, and personal relationships those businesses were known for, and now with expanded capabilities and production support. 

The majority of The Printing Factory team has been with the company for 12 years or more, with employees bringing decades of experience to the pressroom and production floor. That kind of tenure translates into consistency, efficiency, and a deep understanding of both print and people.

At the center of The Printing Factory is John Petrovskis, who is a trusted print professional and business owner in the Mundelein, IL community for three decades.

With over 45 years in the print industry, John has owned or managed printing operations. He has guided tens of thousands of custom projects from concept to completion. 

John brings straightforward and honest guidance to his clients.  Providing technical and production knowledge with his calm and problem-solving mindset. Clients know that when they work with John, they’re working with someone who understands not just how something should look, but how to make it work.
